Low-Cost LynxCOM Pro runs on any Windows-based PC.   Connect into a  serial port or you can use the included USB adapter.    Runs as a service, so it operates when you are logged off or on.

The LynxCOM Pro allows you to install a panic button or other sensor anywhere in your facility that there is a computer connected to the network. The LynxCOM -Pro is cost-effective, and can be used instead of the Lynx Duress Hotkey in places that the computer key board is not convenient. 

LynxCOM Pro is easy to use and install.   Load the software on a workstation,  plug in the cable, and enter a few parameters (server name and alarm group), and you are ready to go!    LynxPro works as long as you are logged in.  Even if the workstation is locked!

LynxCOM Pro supports network supervision - meaning it will check in with the server periodically. If it fails to connect, Alarm channel 0 is triggered by the server.  This alarm can be set to communicate with any or all of the output devices to alert you to a problem.

	Control Panel - LynxCOM Pro normally resides in your task tray.    You can change settings, then drop it from the task tray.   It will continue to operate as a native Windows service.  Runs under all users accounts.
	You can trigger any alarm group or channel.      LynxCOM Pro supports the [CPU] macro with the Location field.  Use it to easily identify the location of  the alert.   Auto COM Port detection makes setup a snap.

The hardwired LynxCOM -Pro panic button is a simple addition to the LynxGuide Server system. It does require a computer that is connected to the network/Internet, is on all the time and can have software loaded on it.
